„My work can be located in the field of geometric abstraction, concrete and minimalist art. The geometry of the urban and the architecture is an area that I have dealt with in recent years. My focus is currently on the simple form of a house with saddleback roof.
For the construction of my basic house I always use the same formula, put it together from four whole and two half squares. That always guarantees the same proportions. In my current work cycle „House“ I deconstruct the house, move and rearrange its elements several times so that the conditions are redefined in new geometric forms.“ Jürgen Bauer
